Dear Timeless Farm/Stephanie,
I just wanted to thank you for the great shows that you provide!
The beginner/walk trot ground pole classes that you provide have been an excellent
experience for my daughter Chloe and her pony Mo.
Last year we attended our first Timeless show and Chloe and Mo were very green
and trying to become a team. We practiced a lot over the winter and Spring
and I think they finally click! Chloe is 7 yrs old and she learns so
much being able to go in so many classes. We travel from Waukesha,
and it takes about 2 hours, but well worth it, especially since all of the
riders are being judged by a huntseat judge at least they know equitation or
a nice hunter when they see it and there isn’t all of the senseless halter
classes.
I love coming to your farm because it feels like where I grew up riding, The
farm was called Olde Meadowbrook and changed to Foxdale Farm , Jack Rockwell
was the trainer he came from Madison every week, I lived right up the
street and I walked to the barn everyday. My mom ran 4 horseshows a year
there, and she also started Run O’the Mill Pony Club. The
funny thing is that my favorite show to attend every year (other than the ones
the farm hosted) was Highland Hunters where Michael Bea trained.
I really wish there was a farm close by that would host the same type of show
with a similar class list and possibly make it a series. It is so unfortunate
that the beginners are forgotten, this type of show makes a better rider and
gives them lots of experience to want to move on in the sport and of course
it is FUN!
Thank you again for the great time!

Stephanie,
Just wanted to thank you again for the hospitable schooling show you put on which we enjoyed taking part. We're going to try to be there for the show next month as well. It's great for us as we learned a much. You had mentioned a hunter/jumper clinic in April. Could you please send me the information?
Thanks again,

Timeless
Farm: As a newer, young trainer of beginner horses and riders,
what first attracted you to our shows?
Melissa:
I was so impressed at the first show I attended
with the consistency of quality riders and fair judging.
I had become discouraged because so many of the shows I had attended
here in Wisconsin (even those claiming to be English shows) were
judged more like open shows, which I have found to be largely
Quarter Horse based. It was refreshing to see a show judged
on ASHA / US Equestrian standards. Your shows reward my
students for riding as I believe true hunter/jumper riders should.
Timeless
Farm: Why do you keep getting up at 3:30 am for a 200 mile
round trip to come back to our shows?
Melissa:
I have yet to find well run shows with good quality
judging. Your shows know what a hunter rider should ride like.
I love the fact that you have all of the amenities of an A show
(food stand, tack shop, was area, quality stabling, etc.) at a
fraction of the cost.
Timeless
Farm: Do you feel that our shows are educational for beginner
riders and horses? Can you give some specific examples?
Melissa:
Definitely. I love your ground poles division.
It gives my younger students a chance to get in the ring and have
a safe fun non threatening experience.
Timeless
Farm: What other shows do you attend?
Melissa:
I do not attend any other shows at this time.
You provide me with 1 show a month which is perfect for my clients
and I.
Timeless
Farm: How do those shows compare to TF shows?
Melissa:
NA
Timeless
Farm: Is cost a factor? How important? Have
you or your clients set limits on expenses?
Melissa:
Cost is definitely a factor to my clients.
Not one of my clients has a horse that cost more than $5000 and
they do not have the funds to attend rated shows. But your
shows allow my students from medium income families to have a
similar show education to what I did growing up riding on the
A circuit in Chicago.
Timeless
Farm: Compliments? Complaints? Suggestions?
Melissa:
I love the friendly staff. And I love the
series award opportunity. The wonderful ribbons and awards
make my students just as proud as they would be at an A show!
My only suggestion... Any way to give all the kids in the
walking equitation class who have a lead line handler a blue ribbon?
Timeless
Farm Response
We liked Melissa's suggestion so much that this
year
we now award all leadliners a blue ribbon.

I was at some of your shows last year as a spectator and they were such nice
shows that I would like to show at your October Schooling Show. I am an event
rider
and would like to show in the jumper classes. The only thing is I am not sure
what the Tables and Sections behind the classes mean. Could you explain?
Also, do you need to enter in advance? If so, how far in advance?
Thank you so much for your time and help!

are well run, well judged, and fun to attend. My daughter has learned so much
from attending your shows. Thank you!

Stephanie,
I attended (as a spectator) your fall horse show a few weeks ago and was very
impressed! The farm was so beautifully decorated and the show seemed to
offer something for everyone and moved along at a nice relaxed pace for all involved.

Thank You,

Hi Steph,
...
We're looking forward to attending your show again this year.
Yours is the most competitive and the girls use their performance
there to gauge how much they have improved over the year.

Hi Judy and Stephanie,
I just wanted to send an e-mail to thank you for a nice show on
Sunday the 21st of March. My daughter Alison had a good experience.
It was her first time showing her new horse of two weeks.
Both Ali and Silly learned a lot through the classes they entered. Your
staff and helpers were quite nice and friendly.
Thanks again, and hope to see you again soon.

Hi Steph, how've you been?
Great article in the WI Horsemen's News!!! Good for you! Please
give my regards to Julie as well. I was so excited to see H/J
news in there! It's traditionally such a western publication.
The photos included were fabulous too. I hope it drums up even
more business for you. I'm thankful you waved a "Hunter/Jumper" flag
in front of the publications readers.
Ciao!
